Description

The Finale Lounge Chair rests on a base, available in a polished or brushed stainless steel or matte black finish, that appears to be floating in space. Generous seat cushions and gently sloping arm and back cushions add balance to the rigor of the external structure. The body of the Finale collection is traced in a matching or contrasting loop stitch, creating an interesting architectural framework for each piece.
The product grouping includes a club chair and sleek, modern sofa. The exterior shell of the chair and sofa, along with the cushions, can be custom ordered in matching or contrasting fabric to accentuate the two elements.
The Finale collection was designed by Charles Pollock, a recipient of the IBD Bronze Medal Award, the Dutch Institution for Industrial Design and Pratt Institute’s Excellence by Design Award. His work is exhibited in many museums around the world.
In the late 1960’s, Pollock disappeared from the design scene for 47 years, until his celebrated return in 2012 with a series of new introductions for Bernhardt Design including the CP Lounge Collection.
In 2012, the 82-year-old Pollock introduced his first new product in America since the debut of his iconic Pollock Chair forty-seven years earlier. Pollock’s new collection CP Lounge was commissioned by Bernhardt Design. The Finale seating collection was the last in Charles Pollock’s 50-year design career.

When do orders ship?

You can see estimated lead times under "Delivery", above.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.

Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.

What is Freight shipping?

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.

Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.

Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
