Description
This is a fine set of four FH4103 Stackable ‘Heart’ Tripod Dining Chairs, initially designed by Hans Wegner in 1952. These particular examples were manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark in the 1950s. The chairs feature a solid oak frame, and have seats made with veneered teak. The wood has developed a lovely patina; The oak has been rubbed to perfection through decades of use.
Each chair measures 18.2 inches deep, 21.66 inches wide, and is 29.14 inches high. They have a seat height of 17.72 inches. This set is in solid vintage condition, and there are some scrapes and scuffs on the oak frames. There is notable darkening of the clear lacquered layer atop the oak. Overall, this set is in good condition with some wear. Please see photos.
