Description
A streamlined wooden frame and unparalleled upholstered comfort strike the perfect balance on the flexible, modular Embrace Sofa, designed to adapt to our changing needs and real-life situations. Several years in the making to ensure a design that would stand the test of time, the Embrace Sofa has a classic look and a contemporary casualness. The modular design minimizes the materials used so that the look embodies the design and the design embodies the look – without compromising on comfort or function. Comprising ten modules, each of which is combinable in every way imaginable yet can also stand alone, solid FSC™-certified wooden frames, armrests and tables are stringent in their expression while flexible in their composition(FSC C135991). A layer of soft feather down on the upholstered seat and loose cushions add contrast, providing a pleasant, embracing comfort.
This section is available in a left and a right version. The price includes one cushion in the same fabric/leather as the sofa module.

Embrace was designed by EOOS. Gernot Bohmann, Harald Gründl, and Martin Bergmann were trained at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and founded EOOS in 1995. They have worked across various materials, scales, and domains. Examples include toilets for Laufen, chairs for Carl Hansen, and a sculptural daybed for Poltrona Frau.

Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.
