Description
The Corvo Dining Chair reveals its story by discovering each angle, facet, and curve, illuminating the idea that craft and the human hand are the hallmarks of modernity in the twenty-first century. The contours of the inner arms and back are juxtaposed with the straight edges of the external structure, creating visual interest and stability.
Corvo is hand shaped and sanded from solid American walnut or maple and sealed with a natural oil finish. The upholstered seat cushion adds a soft, final touch to the wooden piece.
The Corvo Chair was designed by the multidisciplinary French designer, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, known internationally for his sensitive attention to materials and details, as well as for the refinement of his organic forms. From his initial training as a sculptor, he has kept this innate aptitude for dialogue between space and object. Bernhardt Design’s ongoing partnership with Noé spans over a decade and has resulted in many of our most well-known pieces.

Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
