Description
A sterling example of people-first design, the Asserbo Bench demonstrates the Danish designer’s approach to function and form. Perfectly proportioned, the solid, dark-oiled FSC™-certified eucalyptus seat has gently rounded edges and visible brushed brass screws. Available with a fixed or wall-mounted backrest, as well as cushions in leather or fabric, the customizable design has a warm and welcoming expression.
Please note that the furniture is delivered unassembled.

The Asserbo Series was designed by Børge Mogensen. Mogensen’s creative process produced long-lasting pieces with humans at the center. He became a highly-influential, post-war designer and a leading representative of Danish Modern. Mogensen’s democratic design included simple and functional wooden furniture for both private and public spaces, with calm aesthetics and strong construction from quality. He believed in visual clarity and minimal decoration or experimentation.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
