The Beetle Lounge Chair is comfortable and generously proportioned, making it the perfect lounge chair for relaxation at any contemporary home. It carries strong references to GamFratesi's inspirational source; the four-legged insect, the beetle. The design reinterprets the characteristic elements of the beetles’ sections: shape, shells, sutures, rigid outside and soft inside. The wide range of upholstery offer options to match the interior in the most decorative and beautiful way possible.
The Beetle Collection was designed by Danish-Italian design-duo GamFratesi. With their diverse traditional background, they draw on the classic Danish furniture and craft tradition as well as the timeless Italian intellectual and conceptual approach. From this cross-cultural partnership, they create furniture that respectfully reflect tradition while also featuring unique embedded stories, symbols and associations, often expressed in a minimalist idiom. GamFratesi aim to create furniture that illustrates the process and the techniques that created it, and which reflect a persistent exploration of the diverse border zone between harmony and disharmony.

Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.

- Larger items including furniture often ship on a truck via Freight. Our furniture shippers professionally arrange and manage all Freight shipments.

- Freight costs may include insurance.

Newly made items ship from a warehouse or are made-to-order. There may be a lead time depending on the piece. We'll keep you updated if there is.
Vintage items are all in-stock and ready to ship.
What is Freight shipping?
Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
Furniture arrives curbside, often on the shipping pallet for protection.
Freight shipments can take longer and are more costly than regular mail, but help to prevent damage to furniture during delivery.
