Description

Similar to the curves of the human body, the same can be said of the Bardot Lounge Chair. The absence of distinct angles and lines permits the exterior and interior to gently merge, creating a continuous form allowing the textile to conform to its shape. While Bardot appears larger in scale, it features a deceivingly compact footprint to work in smaller spaces.
Fully upholstered and standard with welt, the Bardot seating collection includes a lounge chair, loveseat, and sofa.
The Bardot Collection was designed by Jaime Hayon. Hayon not only blurs the lines between art and design, but also questions what design actually is by pushing the boundaries of his materials. His work coherently brings together diametrical opposites such as opulence and practicality, sensuality and precision as well as finesse and restraint. Using a hybrid of industrial design disciplines, craft expertise and new technology, his whimsical creations come as a breath of fresh air after a decade of monotonous minimalism. Hayon’s work has been awarded by Elle Deco and London 100% Design as well as many others.
