Hola is a textile made from 100% recycled polyester. Its finely textured threads are woven into a soft comfortable fabric with an understated expression and almost cotton-like feel. The robust, easy-care material is Oekotex-certified and exists in natural tones achieved through a dyeing process with a closed water cycle.

The very durable upholstery fabric was originally designed in 1965 by Nanna Ditzel, and is now available in a version with an updated colour scale: Hallingdal 65. Hallingdal 65 is made of wool and viscose, which complement each other well: the wool provides excellent durability and flexibility, whilst the viscose adds brilliance and depth to the colour. Both materials are dyed before they are spun, which highlights the rich texture of the fabric.

Description

The high-back cantilever Armchair 401 offers maximum comfort. The frame contains a sprung seat, while the back is slightly tilted to provide support for the head and neck. The minimalist wings adjoining the headrest contribute to the distinctive design. Since wood changes over time, the armrests are formed from a single piece that is then split in half, ensuring that as the chair ages, it remains perfectly balanced.

Yes, in-stock items can often be delivered to NYC quickly by our skilled couriers. Pieces are delivered by hand to your residence. This typically takes 1-2 weeks for items stocked at our warehouse in PA.
