Description
Aptly named for Bernhardt Design founder Anne Harper Bernhardt, the Anne Lounge Chair is crafted from solid American walnut which gives each piece its own unique characteristics.The Symmetrical organic lines with softened edges and curves give the Anne chair its distinct design and timeless aesthetic.
The rich finish is achieved with a hand-rubbed oil that highlights the beauty and grain of the natural wood. An upholstered leather seat featuring a flange stitch detail balances the chair’s design, providing an inviting element of comfort.
The designer of the Anne Lounge Chair, Ross Lovegrove, is a recipient several international awards, and has been extensively published and exhibited internationally in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Guggenheim Museum in NY, Axis Centre in Japan, Pompidou Centre in Paris and the Design Museum in London, where in 1993 he curated the first Permanent Collection.
