Description

Listed for sale is an exceptionally rare and early Jens Risom Sofa, model number 23, produced by Knoll and labelled H.G. Knoll Products. This particular examples dates to circa 1949. The model itself was designed in 1946 and made during the earliest production period, as the labels transitioned to Knoll Associates labels during the beginning of the 1950s. This sofa came from a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania estate and was just freshly reupholstered in a Knoll Textiles off-white boucle fabric (slightly different in pattern than their classic boucle). The sofa has an ebonized finish, which can be touched up and/or restored if desired. The sofa is in terrific condition. As noted in the photos, there are a couple of light soiling marks on the back of the piece from moving it to our warehouse from the upholstery shop. We can have an upholstery cleaner come in to clean that area prior to shipping at the new buyer's request as well.
The piece measures 73 inches wide by 30.5 inches deep and 30.5 inches tall.

What is Freight shipping?

Freight shipping is how most furniture is shipped: secured by hand on a pallet and transported on a truck.
