Description
Listed for sale is a set of four Eero Saarinen for Knoll Tulip dining chairs with brown fabric seat pads. These are early armless examples from the 1960s and guaranteed as originals. The chairs retain their original finish and original upholstered seat pads. The condition overall is very good to excellent for early examples like this. There is some wear to the bases as noted in the photos. The upholstery condition is very nice. however the customer may also choose to replace the foam or upholstery fabric as they see fit. The price listed includes all four chairs. These chairs are labeled underneath ""BR51"" which is consistent across authentic examples of this period and later into the 1970s also. While not photographed, at least one original label is present. The set was acquired from a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania estate along with various other original Knoll pieces.
Dimensions are 32 inches tall by 21 inches wide by 22.5 inches deep. The seat height is 18.5 inches.
