The absence of distinct angles and lines permits the exterior and interior to gently merge, creating a continuous form allowing the textile to conform to its shape. While Bardot appears larger in scale, it features a deceivingly compact footprint to work in smaller spaces.

The Bardot Collection was designed by Jaime Hayon. Hayon not only blurs the lines between art and design, but also questions what design actually is by pushing the boundaries of his materials. His work coherently brings together diametrical opposites such as opulence and practicality, sensuality and precision as well as finesse and restraint. Using a hybrid of industrial design disciplines, craft expertise and new technology, his whimsical creations come as a breath of fresh air after a decade of monotonous minimalism.
