The Bilboquet Table Lamp has an adjustable head integrated with an LED bulb and cut-off providing direct lighting. The body is made of a special pigmented polycarbonate deriving from a by-product of paper production rather than from petroleum. Adjustability through the steel sphere treated with a protective layer deposited in PVD. The cable can be adjusted and locked in place through a special slit in the base of the lamp. The product has been designed according to the ISCC standards and it is assembled with total absence of glued components so that it can be completely separated for future recyclability.
Bilboquet was designed by British-Canadian designer Philippe Malouin. He set up his London studio in 2008 and his diverse portfolio includes sofas, tables, rugs, chairs, lights, art objects and installations. Philippe’s artistic practice is represented by Salon 94 Design gallery in New York City as well as The Breeder gallery in Athens. Philippe’s client list includes: Flos, HEM, Ishinomaki, Iittala, De Sede, SCP, Established & Sons and Marsotto Edizioni.
