Display Stand (1960s)
Listed for sale is a vintage pedestal display stand dating to the early 1960's. This pedestal came directly from the Container Corporation of America in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. The space was designed by Herbert Bayer, one of the most renowned artists who emerged from the Bauhaus in Weimar.
The Container Corporation of America was filled with exceptional modernist pieces and this was one of numerous extraordinary examples.
The pedestal display stand is in very good condition with some wear to the paint and a nice overall patina.
