Teak Serving Cart (1960s)
Made by Poul Jeppesens Møbelfabrik
This is a teak wood serving cart with expandable top designed by Grete Jalk and produced by Poul Jeppesens Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. It is quite versatile in its capabilities, easily serving as a tea trolley, a bar cart, or as an occasional table. The piece retains its original casters which allow for easy movement between rooms.
The piece when closed has a width of 27.6 inches, depth of 17.7 inches, and height of 25.6 inches. When open, the top doubles in size. The teak is overall in excellent vintage condition. It does show some light wear from use. The brass hardware shows patina, as do the original casters. Please review all photos for an accurate assessment.
