Description
This is a set of eight Dining Chairs in teak, designed by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in 1959. This particular set was manufactured in Denmark circa mid 1960s. These chairs are in very good condition and have been well-maintained. The wood appears remarkably original and the finish has a nice patina to it. They also have black leather seats, which appears to have been redone in the past two decades or so.
The set consists of six armless Model 77 chairs, and two Model 57 arm chairs. The listed price includes all eight chairs.
Each model 77 side chair has the following dimensions: 30.3 inches tall, 19.7 inches wide, and 19.7 inches deep. The model 57 chairs have a width of 21.7 inches and identical dimensions otherwise. Both models have a seat height of 17.5 inches. We would recommend using the chairs as they are, however, if for any reason you would want to reupholster, refinish, or re-oil the chairs, we have a trusted refinisher and upholstery shop who could perform any of those services if desired.
