Steelcase filed for a U.S. patent for this model in 1967, and it was awarded in 1969. These particular examples were manufactured in Grand Rapids, Michigan and date to the 1960s. The listed price includes one chair, and we have several of these chairs available for purchase. The frames of the chairs are made of aluminum, which allows them to remain lightweight while being quite strong. Their shells are made of molded plastic that is of a hue between white and light grey. Considering this model was released in the late 1960s, the design was quite novel for the time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eEach chair measures 20.75 inches long, 19 inches wide, and 29.75 inches high. They have a seat height of 17.25 inches. We have intentionally left these pieces in their original condition to showcase their history. There are some dark marks, blemishes and scratches on the seats and the legs. The aluminum legs have some rust and residue. Overall, these chairs are in good vintage condition.
