Listed for sale is a super rare and original Eames for Herman Miller 1954 DKX chair with wire top and early X base. 
 
This piece can be dated due to the use of this base typology, as the X base was only used during the earlier production of these pieces.
The example for sale has a lovely patina with some wear and signs of use. See photos. There is a small break in the wire within the framework, which doesn't affect it structurally.
