Eames LCW
By Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller
Description
This is An Eames LCW Lounge Chair in Walnut, dating to circa 1953. It has the 5-2-4 screw pattern underneath, indicating early Herman Miller production. This example is in very good to excellent vintage condition with some light wear from use and nice patina. See photos. The hardware appears to be completely original aside from the two bolts on the back, which appear to be vintage regardless. The seat and back each have some wear and a chip on each as shown in the photos.
The chair came from the home of the original owner and will be accompanied by a copy of a photo of the family using this and others. The bolts on the back can be replaced with original spec bolts if desired.
This chair measures 27.5 inches tall by 22 inches wide and 25 inches deep. The seat height is 15 inches.
