diplomat-cresco-cabinet-finn-juhl-france-son-26020607
Diplomat Cresco Cabinet

This is a Diplomat Cabinet from the Cresco System, initially designed by Finn Juhl for France and Son in Denmark in 1966. The case of this cabinet is made of rosewood, and it features the signature aluminum "bowtie" or circular pulls that match the rest of the Diplomat executive office line. The piece has two large drawers that open to reveal lots of space for storage. The metal rods are present if you choose to use it for hanging files. The piece was freshly refinished.

The Cresco system retailed in the United States through John Stuart. Cresco was a highly versatile, architectural storage system that was introduced to coordinate with the Diplomat desks and sideboards.

This cabinet measures 18.5 inches deep, 18.5 inches wide, and 26 inches high. While we have had this piece refinished, it does still have some small scuffs and scratches. There are small holes along the sides of the piece that allow it to be connected with other pieces from the Cresco system. It can certainly stand alone, and these small holes do not detract from the sleek look of the piece. Overall, this cabinet is in good condition.
