In 1950, the married couple, founded their architectural firm APS in London, which they ran together until Alison Smithson's death in 1993. Smithson's last major work, after the death of his wife, were the designs for the new building of the Kragstuhlmuseum\/TECTA archive in Lauenförde, whose inauguration in 2003 he did not live to see.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eD38 is available upon request.
