Description
This is a finely-woven Nepalese Rug, designed by Joseph Carini and Aurelie Lang for Carini NYC in the 2000s. Carini NYC is one of the last of the modern rug makers in the world to use authentic Tibetan knotting techniques. They have perfected sourcing naturally-derived dyes after decades of experimentation. The colors they choose for their rugs are rooted in Ayurvedic science, with an importance placed upon how each color affects our emotional and physical life. This particular rug has a lichen gray/green hue and is both soothing and invigorating.
The rug measures 120 inches deep, 168 inches wide, and .5 inches thick. This rug has been previously used and shows some signs of fading and age. It would benefit from a professional cleaning. There is one defined small spot as pictured, but is overall in very good condition. Please see photos.
