1980s Pair of Cassina Le Corbusier LC3 Lounge Chairs with New Black Upholstery

Listed for sale is pair of LC3 "Grand Modele" Lounge Chairs designed by Le Corbusier and produced by Cassina.
This set was specified with a chromed steel frame and and newly re-done cushions. These chairs date to the 1980s. They retain original Cassina markings and Atelier International (AI) labels. AI was a partnered importer of Cassina products for many years. The upholstery is supple and feels terrific with a nice and lightly pebbled grain. It is either leather or a super high quality leatherette. The side cushions have a stiff board within the upholstery to keep them from sagging (something that may have been original during this production period). Condition overall is terrific. The frames show some light patina, which can be further cleaned if desired prior to shipping.
This item measures at 24.4" tall x 28.7" deep x 39" wide.
The price listed includes both chairs shown in the photos.
