Listed for sale is a very rare and original Herman Miller ESU 100-C with original label, designed by Charles and Ray Eames. This gorgeously patinated piece came from a Mississippi estate, along with a number of other highly coveted modern pieces, including Nakashima and George Nelson examples. This particular 100-C appears to have seen its fair share of use over the years, showing some remnants of touch-up paint on the frames and and some oxidation as well. It does retail all four original feet. See photos for condition. The masonite is fairly clean and plywood seems to be intact. This example does of course show plenty of wear, which is arguably ideal for these examples. It retains its original 1953-1954 Herman Miller label as mentioned. The shelf measures 24 inches long by 16 inches deep and 20.5 inches tall.
