Using their collection of 200+ pieces of SOM-designed or SOM-Adjacent works as teaching tools, Rarify’s co-founder David Rosenwasser will lead a private viewing and Q&A, guiding through the history of SOM furniture design from the 1950s through the 1980s. He will highlight and discuss the protagonists of interiors and furniture design during this period, when SOM was deeply involved in bespoke in-house furniture design. Beyond that, guests will have a chance to roam their 80,000 square foot facility in the former Bethlehem Steel Railroad Spike Plant in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
