Description
This is a Saarinen Executive Chair, Model 71 USB, originally designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1950. These particular examples date to the 1970s. The listed price includes one chair, and we have 2 available for purchase. The chair’s design features an upholstered seat and back, and this pair retains their original brown hopsack fabric. They sit atop 4 tubular chromed-steel legs, and have their original feet.
Each 71 USB chair measures 24.25 inches long, 26 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. They have an 18-inch seat height, and a 25-inch arm height. They retain their original Knoll tags. The upholstery has a handful of small spots and shows a bit of fading, and the undercarriage lining has some staining. The bases have light scuffs and scratches, but present nicely. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition with some wear apparent. Please see photos.
