Prototype Wing Armchair (2007)
Made by Richard Schultz Design
This is a Prototype Wing Chair, designed by Richard Schultz Design in 2007. The design never made it to the production phase, making this a rather important piece. The chair was procured from the artist’s son’s own collection (and home). Peter worked closely with his father Richard for many years and was trained in design also. The chair has light green & off-white striped fabric upholstery. It also has a black lacquered-steel base. This prototype chair features full length glides.
The chair measures 29 inches deep, 37 inches wide, and 43.5 inches high. There are some small spots on the upholstery, and a possible scuff or two at the bottom of the base. Overall, this piece is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
